sims 4 won't open
Hello! I recently installed the sims 4 to my PC. After everything was done installing, the game will not launch. I do not have a sims 4 either. The game continues to send me to origin whenever I cli...
@Meuja Do you have a third-party antivirus installed? If so, please disable it, at least long enough to test.
If that doesn't help, please disable Origin in-game: hover over your username, select Application Settings, then the Origin in-game header, and disable the option at the top.
If that doesn't help either, please run a dxdiag and attach it to a post.

Here it is!
@Meuja Unfortunately, this site's virus scanner isn't working properly and is instead blocking everything. So you'll need to upload the dxdiag to a third-party filehosting site and link it here.
However, please first try the other steps listed in this guide:
and let me know whether any of them help.
Sorry for my late response!

@Meuja Don't worry about the late reply; it isn't a problem. Also, this site's virus scanner is back online... for now.
Please run a couple of basic checks on your Windows system files:
Restart your computer, and run any pending Windows updates: hit Windows key-i, select Update & Security, and click the button to check for updates. If any updates install, restart again when you're done.
If this doesn't help, please let me know whether any of the other steps in the guide I linked earlier had an effect. In particular, try completely disabling your antivirus, if you haven't already—it's often not enough to merely set exceptions for the game and Origin.
