@702lwl5hl8si Thanks for providing your dxdiag, which lists a number of different crashes of other apps but nothing directly Sims-related. So it's possible the game isn't crashing so much as being blocked from starting. That, in turn, can be due to an antivirus. If you use a third-party program, please disable it (temporarily) and repair the game in Steam to see whether that helps. If it does, you can set exceptions for TS4_x64.exe and EADesktop.exe; Steam isn't generally a problem.
If you don't use a third-party antivirus, Windows Defender doesn't usually block Sims 4, but you can try disabling Controlled Folder Access if you're using it, and set the same exceptions if necessary.
If the antivirus isn't the problem, try pausing OneDrive syncing. If it's running at all, whether you deliberately use it or not, it could interfere with Sims 4's access to Documents. Right-click the cloud icon in the lower-right corner of the screen to see the option.
If that doesn't help either, please look for new errors in the Reliability Monitor. Hit Windows key-R and enter "perfmon /rel" without quotes, and you'll see a chart of errors and updates with a column for each day. Today is on the right.
Look for an error that happened at exactly the time of your most recent attempt to launch Sims 4, specifically after you've done the steps I listed. If you find one, double-click it to see more details, then copy that info and paste it into a reply here. If you don't see a new error, check back in an hour or so—the Reliability Monitor doesn't always update right away. No error at all is also useful information, so let me know either way.
