Sims 4 won't startup/launch

okay this  problem has gotten to the point where I've been in tears from stress and everything. Every time I go to launch the Sims 4, nothing shows. Like in the processes through task manager it appe...

I take it yesterday's update didn't help with anything either ?

Sims 3 and Sims 4 are different though because of Origin so you might wanna whitelist ts4.exe and origin.exe

    I am having the same problem except mine wont launch at all. it will load but never pop up. i have tried almost everything but nothing works
