sims 4
i know absolutely nothing about computers and was wondering if one of these laptops would run the sims 4. https://www.walmart.com/ip/seort/830455451 https://www.walmart.com/ip/seort/363405465
@taliah12356 The laptops would probably run the base game on low settings, but you'd run into performance issues adding more than a few low-impact packs. These laptops don't have the processor, graphics chip, or RAM to handle the demands of most of the expansions. Additionally, they're quite short on storage, meaning you wouldn't have room for much else aside from Sims 4.
What's your budget? There are usually much better options available for about $400, and I'd be happy to look for some. Even for closer to $300, you could probably do at least a little better, although the gap between laptops at those two price points is significant. Just let me know how much you're willing to spend, and I'll list some options.
400 is a good price range for me!
@taliah12356 This laptop should handle all Sims 4 packs together on at least medium-high or high graphics settings:

It also has much more storage, so you could install the entire game and plenty of custom content if you felt like it and still have some room left over. It's as good as anything I've seen for under $450 this past week.
This one isn't nearly as powerful, but it's also $50 cheaper if you want to keep costs down. It should handle all Sims 4 content on low-medium or medium settings, perhaps a bit higher if you don't install all the packs:
