Sims cant do anything and gameplay frozen

I'm not sure if its because of the new patch or because i added the new home decorator game pack but I am unable to get my sims to do anything because I cant click on it. At first it was trying to us...

I just started a new save and played for 30 minutes and it was back to normal. But what do i do about my old saves? I dont want to lose all my progress since I have been working on it for months, Is there any way to repair it?

    @Masonld Many apologies for not getting back to you. While switching over to a new computer, I must have missed that you sent me your save.

    I've checked it now and it works fine for me. It is a rather big save game though so depending on your computer, that might be an issue,

    Do you still have the same issues after the latest patch ?
