My sims can't pick up toddlers, pets and food. It is really frustrating and has only occurred since the update of Pets.
I have removed all mods. Repaired game and updated game. Nothing works.
All sofas/benches and most beds are broken too, there's other stuff.
This issue is caused by broken custom content
You can google and download Sims4Studio (third party tool, use at your own risk) and batch fix your custom content with it.
I've tried this as well. Plus I don't have any mods, just custom content.

Yeah, I had the same problem as well, but any time I tried to get my teen and child sims to do homework, just like trying to pick up the animal, they would make a T shape and cancel the action, but I just did the batch fix on sims4studio and everything is fine now. I fix my CAS cc and my objects cc and Perfecto! everything is back to normal.
