Sims crashes september 2024

Since this latest update my game has been crashing randomly with no warning. I thought maybe it was that my graphics were too high so I put them to the lowest and nothing changes. The crashes happen ...

    @MelanieBowler  Thanks for the dxdiag; it's much appreciated and very helpful in your particular case.  Please try playing in DirectX 11 mode.  Open the EA App game library, click Sims 4 > Manage > View properties, and enter -dx11 in the command line box.  Let me know whether it helps.

How do you do this in Steam? Is it under Launch Options. There’s no other bar.

    @CheeseLuver27  Yes, it should be Launch Options, under Properties > General or something like that.
