Nothing Will save since Update

I have been having two major issues since the patch update. The first being that I keep having the screen go totally white, it will come back for a second, and then the moment I click anything, it will go white again. Once this has happened twice, the screen will go white and stay that way, without any way to exit the game other than through Task Manager. 

The issue I am finding incredibly frustrating is that my game will not save any changes. I have been working on a large building project and I have come back to it this morning after two or three hours of working on it only to find that nothing I had done had been saved. I tested this, going back for probably the third time to decorate and furnish the same rooms, having also lost a lot of it due to the odd, white-screen crashes. The only way I can keep the edits I make to the lot is to save it to my gallery and replace the lot each time, meaning I have to constantly update the save in my library.
