Sims game wont open, EA app just reopens
kasiahlopez I don't see anything either, aside from one error in DirectX 9 mode that may not have caused any actual problems. It's worth trying to play in DX11 mode again. If you chose DX9 mode from within the game, delete Options.ini, in Documents > Electronic Arts > The Sims 4 to undo that setting. If you've forced DX9 mode in the EA App, remove the -dx9 entry under Sims 4 > Manage > View properties.
If that doesn't help, please create a new admin Windows account and try playing there. Make it local, as in, don't link it to your Microsoft account or any email address. You'll be able to (try to) launch the game without reinstalling anything, but your saves won't be available. That can be addressed later; for now, just let me know whether the game works.
