sims in gallery

How often does the bug occur? Every time (100%)
What expansions, game packs, and stuff packs do you have installed? I have all expansions, game packs and stuff packs installed.
Steps: How can we find the bug ourselves? It is happening in the gallery
What happens when the bug occurs? Every time I go into my gallery most of my sims look ok, but others look grey or black when looking at their picture.
What do you expect to see? When I pull the gallery up and tick the include custom content button my sims pop up. Most look grey or black. When I put them into view to add hair they look normal.
Have you installed any customization with the game, e.g. Custom Content or Mods? Yes
Did this issue appear after a specific patch or change you made to your system? Yes
Please describe the patch or change you made. The newest patch released on 11/7/17 caused my issue
