Sims Not Functioning well AT ALL, keeps bugging since I updated Origin and TS4

What expansions, game packs, and stuff packs do you have installed? None
Steps: How can we find the bug ourselves? You'll see it immediately. The sims are not moving. They keep glitching and when I right click on them to reset sim (debug), they're fine for a second but when I click on anything (action, moving, ANYTHING), they don't move and it adds to the list of things to do but the sims are stuck in place.
What happens when the bug occurs? The sims don't do anything at all. It's happened since I updated Origin and The Sims 4 as I was prompted to when I first opened origin.
What do you expect to see? The sims are not even moving. They perform tasks without me being able to see what's going on, as if I'm looking at a picture. It happens with any tasks I get them to do. Please suggest a solution.
Have you installed any customization with the game, e.g. Custom Content or Mods? Never used.
