I’ve just opened sims and ALL my saves are gone. This has never happened before. So I go to my files and they’re all gone there too! I have saves that are legacy games and I’ve been playing for years. I’m so upset and I don’t know what to do because all the other solutions on here people still had it in their files...
@lokesrl Does your computer run Windows or macOS? It's possible your user data folder was uploaded to cloud storage (OneDrive or iCloud, respectively), and that your computer didn't keep a copy locally. When the game can't find this folder, it creates a new one in Documents\Electronic Arts, and that new one wouldn't have your saves, which is why you're not seeing them.
Check cloud storage for a Sims 4 folder, and if you find one, you can put it back in Documents\Electronic Arts, or else move the saves and anything else you want to keep into the new folder that's already there.
