Sims show up in my showcase but not gallery

Steps: How can we find the bug ourselves? Figure out what's not working in the galler
What happens when the bug occurs? When I download my sims (if they have ANY cc), they wont show up in the gallery nor my library... but they appear in my showcase. I've had a couple of times where there was no cc used and they same issue happened. I've taken all meds and cc out of the game and if I put even one piece of cc back, the issue happens. HELP
What do you expect to see? I expect my sims to download when I want to save them
