Hi @Jessmia2
your processor is rather on the low side, you also only have 4 GB of RAM and your graphics card drivers are from 2012. Try updating those
Also try lowering your settings and emptying out inventories
- 9 years agoThanks for your help. I plan to get a new computer one day, so what should I look for in a computer if I wanted the sims 4 plus all the extensions plus mods to run smoothly? And what is better, laptop or desktop?

Usually a desktop is better for game cause you get more powerful computers for your money. Depends on what you'll need it for otherwise though$
These are my recommandations
Processor: i5 or i7 with at least 2.5 Ghz (don't get an i3, they have overheating issues)
RAM: at least 6-12 GB RAM
Graphics Card: Very important. Get something that is green across the board on here: http://simswiki.info/wiki.php?title=Game_Help:TS3_System_Requirements
Operating System: A 64 bit system is a must
Hard Drive: at least 500 GB
