My Sims will no longer leave through their front doors, they try and leave through the window or exit the back door and walk all the way around the house to the front yard. I had a similar issue in San Myshuno, in the 64x64 park. The sims will not use the front door of the main building on the park. Instead after spawning 10mts away from the front door of the building (after the lot is loaded) they always go to either of the sides of the park (there are holes in the fences) and then walk towards the back door of the building.Something similar happens when they are commanded to leave the lot. They go to the "holes" in the fences instead of choosing to go thorugh the shorter path (which requires them to get into the building and exit though the front door).While testing I tried closing the fences so the only way to get in/out the lot is though one side of it, but they still try to exit through the now closed sides, they find that they can't and so they go all the way around the building until they finally leave the lot. The front door of the building has no problem as I can force the sims to go through it, they just seem to dislike the front door when moving autonomously

Try resetting your user files as described in the factory reset described in this post: http://answers.ea.com/t5/The-Sims-4/FAQ-Troubleshooting-Steps-amp-Known-Issues/m-p/3621199 You won't loose anything. Just make sure to not delete any files and make a backup. After renaming, repair your game by right clicking on the game in Origin. Try on a new game with nothing added back first (start new game). If it works, put back your save game and try again. If it still works, you can start putting stuff back. Options.ini (or just re-set all your settings manually) Tray Folder Screenshots/Videos/Custom music Rest of the save games (leave out slot_00000001.save which is the autosave and no longer needed - if you still have it) Custom content like clothing, hair, skins, make up .... Mods (one by one, making sure they all still work) The rest does not need putting back, cause they are mostly cache files that recreate or log files that are not needed for the game.

Sims try to leave house through Window instead of door

You won't loose anything. Just make sure to not delete any files and make a backup.

I don't really know which one it is but there are all of my saved files. I do use custom content but, I've tried removing them and the problem persists so I don't believe it will change the outcome. @crinrict

Which family do I need to play ? Your save shows a ghost as last played household in the icon but none of the households show as actually played.
