@HeppiSims Does this happen if you disable the EA App's in-game overlay? Please test and find out.
Please also try enabling vertical sync in the game options. It's with the other graphics settings.

None of my game options have changed between it not happening and starting to happen. Id really love for someone at EA to be made aware and look into it
@HeppiSims This is a player-help-player forum. EA employees do post here occasionally, but Maxis developers and QA aren't involved in one-on-one troubleshooting. And that's what this thread is, at least right now, since no one else is reporting this particular problem at this time.
The point about the settings wasn't to ask if you'd changed anything, it was to see whether changing them now helped. So if you'd like more help, please try my suggestions and let me know whether anything changes.
