I tried to load my sims up last week and it said to download the legacy version which is odd as my pc is 64-bit so I did it, it caused a lot of problems I downloaded it it didn’t work so i Uninstalle...

Try to completely disable you security software while installing. If you don't do anything else before enabling it again you should be safe.
@jpkarlsen I’m trying to uninstall my avast antivirus and eveytime I click to uninstall it it’s saying “setup is already running. Please try to start the setup later.”
