Sims won't age up and lose their jobs randomly

The sims are not aging up when I have them blow out the candles.  My aging is not turned off.  In the beginning of this issue they would blow out the candles and sometimes end up on the roof and still not age up.  Then as the issue progressed the sims started just randomly losing their jobs with the career pack I got.  They weren't fired, they would just travel home and their job would be gone.  Sometimes the end of the day would come for their job and they just wouldn't leave, I couldn't send them home.  I tried uninstalling, reinstalling, repairing, restarting, removing caches, requesting help from EA multiple times and updating my computer and the game.  I am at a loss.  The game still won't work.  The last person to help me said he had no idea what was wrong and that it was an internal issue.  My case number is 69977320.
