Yup, I'm also having this problem. Got a Sim with no CC whatsoever (created a basic randomised one), and when I go to save, it just gets stuck with the "loading" symbol on the pop-up window, as though it's having trouble connecting to the gallery. And because of this, none of the options (Save to My Library or Save to Gallery) are enabled. Means I'm now stuck unable to save any new Sims that I create. Highly frustrating, please look into this EA.
Could you try a different one ?
Also are you using cc just didn't put it on the Sim or do you have no CC in your game ?
