Sims 4 won't open. Every time I try to open it my laptop comes up with the message of "The code execution cannot proceed because MSVCP100.dll was not found. Reinstalling the program may fix this prob...

And about the product code, you can always make a screenshot of your game in Origin. When you right click the game and choose 'game properties' you'll be able to see the game code.
Make a screenshot of that, save it somewhere safe.
Still not working ☹️ tried to download that thing but it says I already have the newest version of it so can't download this one unfortunately.
@Elise-Kelly2000 First - uninstalling the game will not uninstall the game from Origin. The game is locked to the Origin account you created and can not be user deactivated. To Properly reinstall the Visual C++ Redist package you will need to uninstall any packages that are already installed. So if you have the 2010 package already installed you need to go to programs and feature ins the control panel and uninstall the 2010 package first.
