HiI have just installed sims4 on my PC. For some reason the colour is all wrong - everything has a yellow tint - the plumbobs are yellow, grass is browny yellow and the images are blurred.....The screen display is fine for all other uses - internet, photos etc. I am only getting this discolouration in the Sims game.Anyone got any idea what is wrong?!😕mileysad:

Could you post a picture ? To do so, change to window mode and press Print Screen to take a pic. Paste that into Paint and save it. Then upload the picture to a third party image sharing site like imageshack and then post the link here.

Try going into game options and putting it in laptop mode and uncompressed sims textures.May also be worth a shot to go to the game properties and change the game to 256 colors.

I experienced an issue where the colors were missed up for the entire game. I fixed this issue by clicking restore default in the game options tab.

Could you post a picture ? To do so, change to window mode and press Print Screen to take a pic. Paste that into Paint and save it. Then upload the picture to a third party image sharing site like imageshack and then post the link here.

Yes, it's incredibly frustrating. The game was working fine and out of the blue on start up the graphics are all a whack. I've uninstalled and reinstalled and done all the fixes listed on here and it does not fix it. It's in 3d and I don't have the special 3D options to correct as posted....

You mention 3D, could it be that your graphic cards has a 3D option and it's trying to display the game for 3D view? It's worth checking your GPU software (Catalyst or the NVidia Control Panel) for 3D Settings and disabling them. 🙂
