@puzzlezaddict Thanks for taking the time to help!
See attachment for DxDiag.
@ElineEL Your dxdiag lists a number of crashes of one of the graphics drivers. It's not certain that these are related to Sims 4, but they would absolutely explain why the game isn't working properly. Since your Nvidia driver is from 2022, you can simply update it. Go here:
https://www.nvidia.com/en-us/drivers/
Select GeForce, GeForce 10-series (notebooks), GTX 1050, Windows 11, and download the Game Ready Driver. Run the installer as an admin: right-click the download and select "Run as administrator." Choose the Custom (not Express) install method, and check the box to perform a clean install. Restart afterwards and before trying to play.
If you run into more trouble, please look for new errors in the Reliability Monitor. Hit Windows key-R and enter "perfmon /rel" without quotes, and you'll see a chart of errors and updates with a column for each day. Today is on the right.
Look for an error that happened while you were playing Sims 4, specifically after updating the driver. If you find one, double-click it to see more details, then copy that info and paste it into a reply here. If you don't see a new error, check back in an hour or so—the Reliability Monitor doesn't always update right away.
Okay, so I upgraded my graffic driver, but I'm still having the same problem.
So I tried to look for errors in the Reliability Monitor, but I am not sure I'm in the right place. Can you tell me if I'm doing the right thing here?
Please see the attachments. It is all in Dutch but I'm hoping you can still see if I'm using the right thing here.
