Sims4 saves not loading properly

Hey,

I have a few saves on Sims 4 but whenever I try and load any of them it wont let me go onto the lot and play, even if I click on an empty lot, it just keep loading. It lets me edit them in CAS but that's it. I've tried restarting my game and my laptop but neither of them worked. When I try and make a new save, it lets me edit them in CAS but when I want to buy a lot it says "The game failed to load (error code) it is recommended that you relaunch the game" so I relaunch the game and it does the same thing.

I was thinking of uninstalling sims and trying again but I'm scared that ill loose my saves and expansion packs. Will the happen or no?

Extra info: I haven't added any new CC or bought any expansion packs, it just randomly started happening. I bought Sims 4 on origin and have 3 expansion packs (get to work, pets and the free festive one) I have a lot of CC but they all work fine and aren't bugged/laggy when I play. I play Sims 4 on laptop. The problem started happening yesterday (9th march 2019) and I don't know why.

please help

~Thanks

Last patches have broken many mods and CC so you should find this corrupted and or delete them or replace with new versions.

Move the mods folder to the desktop.

Delete localthumbcache.package file in the game folder - important!

    Fix the game in Origin.
Origin/Library -right click on TS4 - option "Repair game"
You have to wait until Origin will fix all packs, not only the base game.\

Turn on the game to create a new, empty mods folder. Check if a game is working now without mods.

Then copy from desktop your mods and CC and paste it in the new mods folder. First, paste script mods every time checking if the game is OK. Do the same with CC but if you have a lot of this, try the 50/50 method
