Slow game and can't load into lots

Since the recent bugs & glitches because of the recent update before Lovestruck was released.. my game now takes a long time to load into the main menu, I can create a new family no issue but when I try to load into a saved game or move my new family into a lot it again takes a long time to load.

Once it does load it just takes me to the screen where you can see all the worlds, I can click on and open each world but cannot load into lots as it will take me back to that same screen.

I will also note that I have a lot of mods in my game, I use the mod and get an error message saying it's not working or could be an old version which it isn't because I have the most updated one.

Just wondering if others are having a similar issue to mine since I know others have complained about broken games.
