I have tried and tried to play, it crashes or just stops. What happened to Origin. Everything worked great and it woould work good there for a while. Please help ive tried everything updating everyth...

teashapatterson Please try playing in a clean user folder. Move the entire Sims 4 folder out of Documents > Electronic Arts and onto your desktop. When you launch the game, a clean folder will spawn with no content. (Your saves and other content will be intact in the folder you've moved but temporarily unread by the game.) Don't add anything to the new folder yet; just start a new save and see how it runs.
If you get another crash, or any other problem that prevents you from playing at all, please provide a dxdiag. Hit Windows key-R, enter dxdiag in the run box, wait for the scan to finish, click "Save all information," and save the file to your desktop. From there, you can attach it to a reply using the paper clip (Attachment) icon included with the other formatting buttons.
If the new save is fine in the clean folder, copy one of your older saves to the clean folder and test that too. Don't add any other content yet. You don't need to worry about the effects of missing mods or custom content, if that would otherwise be a concern, as the original copy of this save will be intact in your old Sims 4 folder while you experiment on the new copy.
