Snow doesn't go away

Steps: How can we find the bug ourselves? Start a game, wait until it's winter, the next spring the snow won't go away and sims are cold when they're not wearing their cold weather outfits.
What happens when the bug occurs? The snow doesn't dissapear in spring
What do you expect to see? That the snow dissapears after winter

Hi!

It's summer in my game, but for some reason the snow hasn't gone away in spring (I didn't realise until it was summer). I do have mods installed, but when I turn those off I still have the same problem. I've repaired my game 2-3 times now, and it's still happening... Does anyone know how to solve this issue?

@vaneijk4 Could you play to see if it goes away (without mods) until the season changes again ? It's possible that the mod made it stuck during the current season and removing doesn't remove the snow right away.

@vaneijk4 How long did you play after turning off the mods ? Did you delete the localthumbcache file ?

I player with it for a good 15 minutes... So I have no Idea what's the issue. And what file do you mean and where can I find it? Thanks for answering!

In which world are you playing where the snow does not go away? Just want to make sure that you are not playing in Mt. Komorebi. The snow never goes away in the Yukimatsu zone so that would be normal. It is always cold there too so cold weather clothing is normal year round.
If you are not playing in that zone, then it seems something is stuck if a repair didn't work. So I have a suggestion: Place a Dr. June's weather machine on the lot and upgrade it fully so you get the option to reset the season. Reset the season to winter again and play a while for a day or so. Then reset the season again to one of the other seasons and see if the snow will go away. It won't happen instantaneously and takes a day or two. I had it happen in my game once before and that seemed to fix it for me. Haven't had it happen since.

I'll try both options, but I think there is an issue with things getting stuck in my game. I reported a new bug (Conversationpanel doesn't go away), and while the seasons changed on a new safefile, the Conversationpanel was stuck....

I think it's modrelated, the snow went away within 2/3 mins while I was working on the weather station (it didn't go away before after I removed my mods the first time, but apperently it does now). I'll try to figure out what mod causes it, post it on here, and if it happens again I'll try the thing with the weatherstation again. Thanks for your help!

Okay, so: I tested it with the weather machine: make sure you have enough upgrade parts, have a level 10 handiness skill, and upgrade the weather machine fully. Then test it out with your mods: make it winter for a while, then make it spring, and see if the snow melts or not.
I tested it everytime adding 3 extra mods (depending on how many mods you have, this might take a while...) I had no issues, so it's probably one of these 3 mods I deleted before I started to test out what the issue was, bacause I didn't want them anymore or I thought were sus because they were a bit old. The mods I deleted were: Roarsome Kids Bedroom, Rustic Romance, and the ParenthoodBunk. If you have the same issue and have any of these mods installed, delete them and the issue might be resolved.
