@sfalco12 Is this true of all worlds, at least those where it snows? Is it true in a new save as well?
If this happens in a new save, please run a dxdiag and attach it to a post.

Please also post a screenshot of your graphics settings. You can put the game in windowed mode, then click Windows key-shift-S and drag your cursor over the section of screen you want to capture. Open Paint and crtl-V to paste the image.

Hello,
yes this is true of all worlds where I would expect snow and still happened in a new save. Repairing the game didn't work.
Please find dxdiag & graphics settings attached.
Thank you

@sfalco12 Try playing in fullscreen and windowed fullscreen modes, to see whether it makes a difference.
If that doesn't help, try disabling fullscreen optimization for Sims 4. Right-click on TS4_x64.exe or its shortcut and select Properties > Compatibility, then check the box to disable fullscreen optimization, and Apply. If it makes things worse, you can always undo it in the same way.
Someone else with the same issue solved it by updating their graphics driver, although yours is new enough so I wouldn't expect it to be the issue. Still, if the other steps don't help, it's worth updating the driver, or uninstalling and reinstalling it if it's already the newest version. Please go here:
https://support.hp.com/us-en/drivers/laptops
Enter your laptop's serial number, choose your operating system if necessary, and you'll land on the driver download page for your laptop. Please link it here, so I can take a look at the available drivers. The download page doesn't have any information about your own computer, just the overall model.

hello,
please find link below
trying fullscreen or windowed fullscreen modes didn't work and neither did disabling fullscreen optimization.
