So... how does one start a 'new game'

I started playing one game and now I want to start another. The only apparent option I am being given is to move a new sim into the existing game that I have going. I don't want to do that. 

How do I start a completely fresh new game? Do I have to move/rename my Sims 4 directory in Documents/EA or something to force a new game? Or is there something easy I'm missing?

     dont forget to save first you need to exit the game your already playing then go to exit to the main menu  you may be promted to save and exit again then at the main menu top right  where you see the gallery icon then load game there is big + signclickon that to start a new game

    *Hugs* Hope that's not too forward, been looking for a long time, glad it's a pebcak issue. I was hitting the person with a + near the play arrow at the bottom, totally missed the + in the upper right corner.
