Social Event Tasks Won't Appear

Issue When I have a party or send a sim on a date, the tasks needed to complete the social event successfully won't appear. The modal won't pop out of the side of the screen. I only have the optio...

Please tell me how you managed to fix it.  This problem occurred in my game during the same play time that I had another (successful) dinner party.  All of a sudden it stopped working.
