Some of the sims 4 mods wont work

So I have in stalled a few mods for the sims 4 most of them have adult content and a few of them work and a few don't. I have done the add custom content and taken them off and put them on, I have cleared the mods folder and put them back in it, I have googled my question and tried what other people said to do but nothing works. What can I do to make the mods work? Maybe i should take everything off and reinstall and remake my sims?

  • @indiloki We can't really talk about adult mods much here so you might want to ask on the creators page.

If it's generally an issue with script mods, do you have script mods turned on ? You also can't have them in subfolders. Only one subfolder within the mods folder is allowed for script mods.

So bascially put all files that belong to a certain script mod in one folder and make sure that folder is in the mods folder and not deeper nested.
  • Your not understanding what I'm saying, I'm not talking about what's in the mods I'm asking if any one has the same issue with theses or other mods. And I don't know how to ask this question on the site the mods came from so I asked here was obviously a dumb idea and yeah tiered the scripted mods and on the page where I found the mods i t said it could only be one folder deep otherwise they wouldn't befound

@indiloki I have to agree with @crinrict when he writes that it is in fact not nice elaborate much about Mods here. When you install mods or cc you must be aware that they can corrupt your game and gameplay.
But i will say this: sometimes modifications will conflict one and other there is a tool to check that out it is called 'package conflict detector'. You should be able to google it.
Also some of the script and or other mods can be outdated. I would advice you to just delete them.
    Good luck.

@indiloki You might be right, I didn't fully understand what you mean which has mostly to do with that you were rather brief and didn't volunteer a lot of information.

There are several reasons why mods/cc don't show up and to narrow it down, more info is needed.

    1. It could be the mod itself which could be outdated and not working anymore. If so, it's best to talk to the creator of the mod.
    2. It could be script mods in general: I gave you two of the most common pitfalls for those as I frankly don't know what you have tried and what not. Googling gives everyone other links (and I also try to avoid google where I can which will in turn give me even more different links with my search engine), so it's hard to tell from that statement, which sites you landed on.
    3. It could be all mods/cc which I'm also unclear from what you wrote.

The issue with adult mods is, that usually I try to troubleshoot with a screenshot of your mods folder. That won't work with adult mods as we're not allowed to name them here at the official EA forum at all. Mods that rise the rating can't be talked about which is why it's better to talk to the creators. They usually offer a discord or some kind of forum or you can ask in the comments of the download.

    So, to clarify:

    - Is it just script mods that don't show up or also tuning mods/cc ?
    - What in detail have you tried ?
