Something is wrong with my sims 4

it started yesterday evening when I tried to play the game, for some reason 3/4 of the screen became completely white. This is the list of things I did when I reentered the game and it was still 3/4 ...

    v3l8w7au5bo5​  Try forcing the game to launch in windowed mode.  Open Options.ini, in Documents > Electronic Arts > The Sims 4, search for fullscreen , and set it to 0 (zero).

    If that doesn't help, try changing the settings listed in this post from bibliomak:

    The Surface models affected by this (completely different) issue are distinct from yours, but it's always possible that all the models have some software or settings in common that affect how games run and that would be responsive to these changes.
