sound is skipping bad

so my sound keeps skipping, i have followed all the solutions I have found... take out mods and CC, restart and clean boot.  I have included my DxDiag save

    The one service to leave enabled is the EABackgroundService, which the EA App needs in order to run.  Disable the rest as described.

    When you reboot your computer, go through the Task Manager's background processes list shutting down any service that doesn't absolutely need to be running, for example something like MSI Afterburner might still be enabled.  If you accidentally kill a critical process and it doesn't restart on its own, just reboot your computer again.  Please also keep all audio devices disconnected except for the one you're testing.

    Don't open anything other than Sims 4 and the EA App while testing, not even a browser window.

@krazyfungi  Does the sound skip if you disconnect your external speakers and use the laptop's built-in speakers instead?  What if you use headphones?  (A set that has a USB or jack connector would be better than Bluetooth for testing purposes.)  I'm not saying you can't use your speakers, only that this is a helpful test.  Please restart your computer after disconnecting the speakers and before trying another audio device.

    I'm having issues with my speakers, which usually use a jack to plug into the monitor or computer. They skip when plugged in either way. I tried using my son's headphones, and at first, it didn't seem to skip, but shortly after I started using them, it began skipping again. I also tried using another jack speaker and a Bluetooth speaker, and all of them are experiencing the skipping issue.

      @krazyfungi  Click Windows key-X, open the Device Manager, expand the Audio category, click on each entry in turn, and click the green and black Update menu button.  Repeat for everything in the Sound category.  Most devices won't have updated drivers, which is fine; the point is to make Windows search for newer drivers.

      Restart your computer when you're done, and try to play again, testing at least two different sound devices.  Restart in between tests, and make sure only one device is connected at a time.

        I followed your suggestion to check for updates, and there weren't any. However, nothing changed. The music, the sounds of the Sims, and the sound effects are still skipping. I also made sure that my computer is up to date.
