Steam dlc won’t load on ea app

I recently got gifted a sims 4 expansion pack (get to work) via steam, I have only ever used the ea app, all my existing dlc is on there. I downloaded the steam version and linked my ea account to steam. However now when I load the game it only loads with get to work installed and none of my other dlc. I tried uninstalling everything, my previously purchased dlc returned upon reinstalling the ea app version but get to work wouldn’t show up in game at all. The second I re-download the steam version all my dlc disappears and I’m left with only get to work. Please help, I’ve wasted 6+ hours trying to solve this issue and just want to play with my new pack. Repairing the game hasn’t resolved this, neither has clearing the cache. I’ve contacted ea support but was hoping I could find help here.
