Steam PC - No Update for 4/26/23 Sims Fix?

Hello, I play on EA, but my partner bought the game on steam.

Both of us were affected by the horrid bugs in CAS affecting the Sims appearance. I saw the update for me today and alerted them, when they went to update on Steam, there has been no update or patch notes since 4/18.

We checked their downloads and it is not in downloads feed to show it automatically downloaded. That, and they have Steam set to update on launch, but it is not showing update as it always does.

Where is the bug fixes for Steam?

    @grimmjownnoitra  What patch level does your partner see in-game?  Please ask them to load the game to the Main Menu and look in the lower-right area of the screen.  The version number with the fix is 1.97.62.1020; the previous patch is 1.97.42.1020.

    If their game is in fact not updated, ask them to repair it through Steam: they can open their game library, right-click on the Sims 4 tile, and select Properties > Local files > Verify integrity of the game files.  This may trigger an update or just apply it automatically.
