I've only tried with the Origin version installed but when I installed the Steam version, Origin wasn't running and it had no troubles finding it on my Account.
I also think there would be more reports if it was a general issue. Something is preventing your accounts from connecting properly
To narrow down the issue: Are you using same email address for both Steam and Origin ?
Hi! I have a fix that may work for you (it worked for me). Go into Origin -> Library->Find your game->Right click->Game Properties->uncheck the option "Enable Origin In Game for *your game* ->save. You will have to download the game again to a different folder. I haven't checked if it works if I delete the game from my steam library. Good Luck!

This was the fix for me. Many thanks.

What has worked for me was verifying files of Titanfall 2 on Steam, it will say all files are there. BUT when you launch titanfall 2 after this it will start reinstalling with Origin connectivity in the files fixing it. That is what worked for me and what I saw occur. Hope this helps others where these fixes didn't.
- 5 years ago@KiralyDinnye Thanks so much! This was the only thing that worked for me!
- 5 years ago@YinzerGal431 You’re welcome! Good luck and have fun! Thanks for letting me know it worked for someone else as well. Oh and by the way: try avoiding the “checkup” Origin likes to do every time there’s an update (just don’t allow it to run that exe.)

Hello!
I have the same problem. Download Sims 4 on steam, download origin, identify myself by creating a new account with the same e-mail than steam and... Origin ask me for a code... I try the miracle solution ( librairy... enable origin..) But, I can't find the game in the librairy. When I follow this link:
https://myaccount.ea.com/cp-ui/connectaccounts/index ,
I notice that there is no connected count to my EA count...
Please, what can I do?

So I was also experiencing this issue. Here's what fixed it for me.
Game: Crysis 3
Close Origin.
Quit Origin.
Do not have Origin open at all.
Run game from Steam.
Loads up fine.
I can't say this will fix it for you all, but it seemed like it was a common thing for everyone to have Origin running and logged in when encountering this issue.
I'd like to know if someone could just install the origin application and not open it but run the game from Steam and see what happens.
- 4 years ago@KiralyDinnye Literally thank you so much this actually worked!!
- 4 years ago@KiralyDinnye Yeah, but how do I do that tho? Since I've bought my game via steam i can't access it in my origin launcher unless i redeem it, which is my problem in the first place.
