hello, im here to ask a question so i have not much space in my laptop on my disk so im trying to delete things- if i uninstall the sims 4 on steam, BUT i have the EA app will the game disappear?i got the sims 4 on steam for free and then after origin discontinued i got the ea app and the game is there but would it be gone if i uninstalled steam completely/or the game? or maybe the ea app is what i should delete??
@imaniii1312 Your Steam and EA accounts own your game and DLC, not your computer. So you can uninstall everything and it'll still be available in your game libraries when you're ready to reinstall.
As for how to free up more space on your computer, Sims 4 is the same size whether it's installed from Steam or the EA App. Steam itself is small, as is the EA App itself, so you won't reclaim much space by installing either app alone. But if you install Steam itself, that will also uninstall any Steam games you have because by default, all of these games are downloaded into a folder inside the Steam install.
