I downloaded the new game pack, it hasn't been working, I made a new sim and moved her into one of the pre-made houses already in the neighborhood. Then started her in the military career, she never goes to work and the Strangerville aspiration never has tasks. I have uninstalled/reinstalled, repaired, checked for updates, everything i can think of and it just doesn't seem to work.
Reinstalling won't help as I can duplicate the issues on your save.
Did you ever make backups of your save ? It does seem that it's important to you.

Which family did you try that had the same issue ?
So I managed to complete the Strangerville aspiration without seeing what to do next, also I looked up some and followed along. I made a new sim and she is somehow still at the house and I can see and use her but she still does not go to work. So it isnt 100% fixed but it was enough to at least complete the aspiration, thank you for all your help.
