stuck at customization

Steps: How can we find the bug ourselves? You find it after customizing your character. It is unclear what made the bug appear but perhaps if you delete a file specific file that cannot be repaired or brought back after reinstalling the game might be the problem.
What happens when the bug occurs? The bug occurs in the "save household" popup that shows after you have finished creating a new sim. After clicking the check mark the game get's stuck and doesn't let you advance to play the game. The game doesn't freeze nor load the in the game after waiting. meaning you will get stuck in CAS if you don't quit the game, its not possible to click on anything on the screen after checking, so you'd have to click on the "esc" key. As a result of then quitting the game you will lose all your customization progress and lose your character because it was not possible to start playing. Trying to save your character by clicking on the file icon beside the light bulb does not work either the result of saving your characther with that method it makes it even worse and you will have to close the game by using "task manager" on your computer.
What do you expect to see? I expect the game to function as intended, It should be possible to make my character and then let me play the game after i have clicked on the check mark, and then let me move into a house and play the sims 4
Have you installed any customization with the game, e.g. Custom Content or Mods? Not now. I've removed them.

I have tried solving the problem myself by repairing the sims, deleting all files of the sims both locations, C:\Users\"YourName"\OneDrive\Dokument\Electronic Arts\The Sims 4 and C:\Program Files (x86)/origin or origin games. I tried installing sims using steam while also reparing there, tried to just install from origin and repairing there as well.
I have mods but Im sure the mods didn't create this bug. This is not the first time i have installed the sims and i have played several times before until i uninstalled it due to very little space. It was not until yesterday that i reinstalled the game to later find the bug. At first it started out with me not having any of the previous files to continue with my previous household and got an error about having to go back to main menu. which made me start a new household and later found out about the bug. which resulted in me deleting all of my sims files.
If there are any other questions feel free to ask, would mean alot to me if i could get this fixed asap!!!
