I have had this problem and my solution was:
- Open the cheats (Ctrl , shift , and C)
- Type in || testingcheats true ||
- If it says cheats enabled, type in cas.fulleditmode
- Then, press shift, and click on that sim.
- Do reset object.
- If this doesn't work, select another trait, and give her the loner trait back again.
If the cheat || testingcheats true || doesn't work, try it again.Good luck!

Sorry to hear that didn't fix it.
- Save the sim to the library/ gallery.
- Delete the sims in cas >> Open the cheats (Ctrl shift and C), type in testingcheats true .
- Do cas.fulleditmode
- Press shift, and click on that sim.
- Click on modify in cas
- Delete the sim.
- Re - add the sim.
Answer ASAP!
