actually none of the above. I opened an item on the gallery to see the preview. It finished loading and I looked at all the previews. Then I wanted to give it a like and it started loading and loading and loading. Everything was already loaded normally, all I did was click on the like button and it crashed my game O_O So I was still inside this popup window you get when you look at a gallery item and tried to give a like to it.
@cinnaluna and that now happens every time you try it ?
I mean, to answer your original question: No, there's no way to get out of it other than killing the game once you have it but the question is, is there a way to prevent it and that probably depends if it was a one time thing or happens every time.

it happened maybe twice. Most of the time it is fine. But still it felt kind of weird that it would crash like this on something that shouldn't be much to calculate compared to other stuff. But then, it's maybe not always logical what causes crashes. 😉
- crinrict5 years agoHero+@cinnaluna Maybe it was just an unlucky coincidence with the gallery going down at that time ? There was a huge issue the other day with all of Origin and then there's maintenance that's fairly regular.
If it's not every time; I would make sure to save your game before going to the gallery to prevent loss of data.
