Hello! I redeemed a code for a DLC for The Sims 4. I have done this before with a kit pack and it works perfectly but for some reason this DLC just says download to use. I am able to use it on my laptop. However on my steam deck it comes up with that error. Please help me fix it 🙂
@eviecee19 Does this mean you now own the content in the EA App, as opposed to Steam? On your Steam Deck, can you open the EA App and manually install the pack there? If not, try repairing the game in Steam ("Verify the integrity of the local files") and then launching the game again; sometimes the EA App will automatically download new content. That can also happen after an update, and there's a new update coming in a few minutes.
Thank you! I will give this a go later and let you know. I've got the pack on ea and my account is linked to the steam deck. It is downloaded on the EA app and I thought that would work as well but it hasn't. I will try to repair the game on steam. Thank you for this!
