@AratareWolf If removing mods and custom content doesn't help, please try playing in a clean user folder. Move the entire Sims 4 folder out of Documents > Electronic Arts and onto your desktop, and when you launch the game, a clean folder will spawn with no content. (Your saves and other content will be intact in the folder you moved but temporarily not read by the game.) Don't add anything to the new folder yet; just start a new save and let me know whether you can save your progress.
If you still can't save, please run a dxdiag and attach it to a post.

I did something today before I could try these out and it seems to fix itself so far.
I saved my household to the gallery and deleted my save and just started a brand new one entirely, using my household. I'm going to wait but for now, saving screen is much quicker. Gonna see how long this lasts.
