Stuck on the play button for new household.
New save file with no mods. I play on pc and the gallery says everything is corrupt and when I make a new sim, it gets stuck on the play button when you’re done making your sim. I repaired it, delete...

What happens:
When I try to create a new household in The Sims 4, I finish in Create-a-Sim and click Play, but the button greys out and gets stuck there. The household does not load into the game.
At the same time, my Gallery is also showing everything as corrupt.
What I already tested:
- Cleared cache
- Removed/disabled all mods
- Tested with no mods
- Tried a new save
- Repaired the game multiple times in the EA app
- Deleted the entire Documents > Electronic Arts > The Sims 4 folder so the game could generate a brand-new one
- Tested again after the folder reset, and the issue still happens
Extra info:
This is happening even with a completely fresh Sims 4 folder, no mods, and a new save, so it does not seem related to old saves or downloaded content.
Question:
Is anyone else having this issue, or is there a known bug causing the Play button to freeze and the Gallery to mark everything as corrupt?
