Hiya, my sims game in the last 4 months has become incredibly slow. I tried getting rid of all my CC and uninstalling/reinstalling the game. I don't really know what else I can do. I am not really used to computer things. so I thought I'd ask someone who would be better at this.
I attached my dxdiag. I'm not sure if that will help but I'm hoping it will.
I've never had issues prior to this but It's getting to the point where I can't play.

@janecasey1 Thanks for providing the dxdiag, which shows that your laptop's Nvidia graphics driver is three years old. The dxdiag also lists a number of failed Windows updates, so let's start there. Please run a couple of basic checks of your Windows system files:
Restart your computer, hit Windows key-i, select Update & Security, and click the box to check for updates. If any install, restart again afterwards.
For the graphics driver, Acer doesn't offer a newer one for your laptop, which is probably why you haven't received an update. But Nvidia has a new driver you can use instead:

Run the installer as an admin: right-click the download and select "Run as administrator." Choose the Custom, not Express, install method, and check the box to perform a clean install. Restart your computer when you're done.
The Intel graphics driver is similarly old but is probably fine, so there's no reason to try updating it at this point.
Before you open Sims 4 again, please also disable Game Mode and Game Bar, both under Windows Settings > Gaming.
Please test with no mods or custom content at all, at least at first. You can add the content back once Sims 4 is running as it should.
