sudden onset of cooking amnesia

How often does the bug occur? Every time (100%)
What expansions, game packs, and stuff packs do you have installed? sims 4 / cats & dogs & romantic yard decor
Steps: How can we find the bug ourselves? don't know
What happens when the bug occurs? one sim is level 6 - suddenly can only cook salad other sim is level 3 - suddenly can only cook salad
What do you expect to see? they should be able to cook anything on the list when clicking on the refrigerator
Have you installed any customization with the game, e.g. Custom Content or Mods? Never used.

i noticed yesterday that things they were able to cook previously - they werent able to cook. however today was worse. now, neither sim can cook anything but salad.
