Suddenly logged out of EA app and Sims 4 "uninstalled" itself

It wasn't really uninstalled, but the EA app acted like it was. It told me that someone else owned the game OR that I hadn't installed it yet or something when I tried to run the game from the desktop shortcut. I have now deleted all the game data and am downloading all of it again, it will take hoooouuuurs. I don't know why I got logged out? I filled in "keep me logged in". What's up with that? Has anyone found a fix for this "uninstall" issue yet? I've googled and I'm not the only one with this issue but I haven't seen a fix yet and haven't seen a post about it since May. It's frustrating because it's so many hours of my life wasted. I'm downloading the main game now and only that has taken 45 mins already and I'm not even halfway there. Besides this I of course have a bunch of DLC. Heeelp? And no it's not my anti-virus. I've checked that already, I've gone through the other people's replies etc and I couldn't really find a fix that worked for me.
