The cheat code box isn't working

Ctrl+Shift+C still opens the text box, but when I try typing in a code, no text appears. I closed and reopened the game, clicked inside the text box, and tried changing from fullscreen to windowed fullscreen, and none of it worked. Does anyone know what may be causing this?

    amarileyn​  Try shutting down any other apps running alongside the game.  You can check the Task Manager, including the background processes list, for anything that might be open.  Disable the EA App in-game overlay too, under Settings > Application.
