the gallery does not show up in the sims 4

Do you have the option to go online in the Game Options?

I am confused because when I go there I find a blank screen with three buttons not even useful other than that it is a blank screen so I cant even go into the other option because it is not there. I restarted my game and everything and it would not work if I fixed by this point I am sorry I will try restarting Orgin but maybe I just need to update my computer. So this is weird because it worked before

I posted this previously in a different thread, but wanted to share it here.

I just checked my game and it gave me a message like:
One or more of the Sims online services are currently offline. Try again later.

I'm taking that as meaning they've taken it down for maintenance.

We may have to wait till later this afternoon or evening. Usually maintenance is not more than a few or so hours. Then things should be back up.

 @EA_Mai Do you have any info you can share on this?

They may have been just finishing up the gallery maintenance, as I had posted about the gallery being down. I checked SimGuruNick's twitter and saw this:

That is the same thin that happened to me. I though it was a mod but i took all of them out and nothing changed. I scoured the web for an answer so i'm glad that i'm not the only one with this issue.

THIS WILL HELP ANYBODY WHO IS STRUGGLING.  [IMPORTANT] PLEASE READ

Okay, let me simplify this for the people who are having trouble. Follow these steps..

1. Open your game and wait until the main menu screen is opened.

2. Do not start playing your game. Stay on the main menu and go to the RIGHT HAND top corner where the 3 dots are.

3. Click on the three dots then go to "Game Options"

4. After you are in Game Options, go to the LAST tab which says "Other." This tab should be under Screen Capture.

5. Once you are on the "Other" tab, you will see this

Online Feature Access                                             [Check Box]

Online Notifications                                                  [Check Box]

Hide Reported Content                                            [Check Box]

Enable Custom Content and Mods                          [Check Box]

Script Mods Allowed                                                 [Check Box]

6. MAKE SURE THAT

Online Feature Access                                  

Online Notifications                                              

HAVE A CHECK OR A GREEN BOX NEXT TO THEM

7. Apply your changes ( Save changes) and open your gallery. :D

this is for PC/Mac right ? Console doesn't have a gallery.

Do you have an option to go online in the game options ? Could be that your account is underage for certain countries so what country are you in ?

Can you play online for other EA Games ?
