@Jaydee2906 I thought you were playing Sims 3, which does require an outside fps limiter if the graphics card is even mid-tier. But Ciudad Enamorada is in Sims 4, so perhaps the 3 was a typo. Sims 4 has a built-in fps limit of 200, which can be changed but is sufficient to prevent any associated problems.

@Jaydee2906 The Optimization Guide link didn't show up, and I'd like to see which one you used. Regardless, please load Sims 3, enter the cheat fps on , and let me know whether the game is respecting whatever fps cap you've imposed.
How did you move your sims to Legacy Island III this time around? The world itself is somewhat complicated but not overly so for a gaming system, as in, it shouldn't crash out of the blue. But it is possible the game is running out of memory. A quick way to find out is to open the crash logs (the .txt files, not the .mdmp files) in Documents > Electronic Arts > The Sims 3. For each file, let me know what you see in this section, near the top:
Total physical memory: 7884 Mb Available physical memory: 616 Mb Total page file memory: 12748 Mb Available page file memory: 2451 Mb Total virtual memory: 4095 Mb Free virtual memory: 2213 Mb
I don't need every single value from every file, just a range.
And to be clear, did you move your sims to this world via the Move option on the phone, or did you use NRaas Traveler and Change Hometown? The first option is problematic for a few reasons.
For Sims 4, is there any pattern to what you're doing at the time of the crashes? Please also let the game crash again and look for new errors in the Reliability Monitor. Hit Windows key-R and enter "perfmon /rel" without quotes, and you'll see a chart of errors and updates with a column for each day. Today is on the right.
Look for an error that happened at exactly the time of this most recent Sims 4 crash. If you find one, double-click it to see more details, then copy that info and paste it into a reply here. If you don't see a new error, check back in an hour or so—the Reliability Monitor doesn't always update right away.

@Jaydee2906 Your save is using a lot of memory but not so much that that's definitely the reason it crashed. For the sims floating when sleeping, please evict the household, save the house itself to the bin, bulldoze the lot, place a copy of the house, and put your sims back. If you do this in one Edit Town session, without saving and replacing the sims themselves, they'll keep their jobs and relationships but lose their promised wishes and opportunities. If you don't like that result, there are workarounds, but please test this first; it's easy enough to quit without saving.
