The shine off of everything is gone (CAS + Build/Buy)

The shine off of hair, lip gloss, eyes, jewellery, clothes, decor, etc.... basically anything that should have a shine coming off of it - gone completely.  

I've had this problem with over a few months now. Was hoping it would be fixed with a recent update since the shine for lip gloss was an issue before. I originally thought it might be a mod issue but I turned off mods and went into the game only to find out that the issue was still a problem. Currently my game is fully up to date. I have all packs and expansions so far (except for Fitness). I even repaired the game on Origin to see if that would fix it.

I haven't seen anyone else have this problem but I'm completely stumped. I've everything I could possibly think of that might be the problem/fix the issue. Any help would be extremely appreciated!
